Teach Your K-9 to Wear Goggles
Remove the lenses since they are tinted. They easily slide off and on from the frame. Keep them in a safe place during this training period. The dog needs to first get used to the feel of wearing goggles around his face.
Do not let him paw at them or roll to get them off. On leash, take him for a walk to distract him further. Give him lots of treats and praise! You know your dog best, whatever makes him happy, even if it's a game of tug or ball chase.
After he has accepted the goggles, put the lenses back in. Repeat Step 2 as needed. Make all his experiences positive and fun, associating the wearing of goggles as a good thing.
Keep in mind this may take time with a few daily practices at short intervals, all fun and positive. Soon, he will look forward to wearing them!
